Seriously, though - Launchpad finds it mighty nice that everyone would want to come and see her little Pit of Despaire®. So she's dedicated this little corner to those few brave souls who would dare venture this far into The Basement, fighting off those creepy little albino spider crickets that are like a foot long and can jump like nothing you've ever seen. *shudder* Launchpad salutes you now!
Hmmnnn... who to thank first?
I guess Eregil the Wood Elf would be way up there on my list, so we'll start with him. Through thick and thin this guy's been there, and no matter how crabby I was he'd tolerate me and my insane ramblings. This takes guts, and patience, people! I could *never* sit through my own rantings, let alone someone else's!! *mega kupo huggles for da elf* Eregil's the practical Vincent fan, always being sure to check what he's saying and making sure that the rickety rope bridge is safe, so to speak. He is an HTML wizard, he sits patiently through all of our girlish bantering, and he is by far the hardest working of all of us. So this goes out to the little elf boy. ^_^ Thanks, Eregil, for just being Eregil and for providing the inspiration for the layout of some of the pages.
Secondly, a big, warm, fuzzy Basement thank you goes out to Oddfellow. ^_^ Oddfellow has provided the inspiration for many things here, and he also listens (when I'm not being *too* terribly strange) to my crazed mumblings. I feel bad that Oddmon's little thank-you isn't nearly as long as da elf's. ;_; Odd has also been there for me to talk to when no one else was - especially when I was sick that one time, Odd, remember that? ^_~ Well, now that I've rambled some more about him, Odd's blurb is almost as long as Eregil's - almost, but not quite. Thanks again, Odd-sama. ^__^ *mega super kameha meha huggles*
Hmm... thirdly, I guess, thank-you's are due to all my friends from school, for having the patience to dig through all this anime and bishounen stuff (which I know most of you hate) to find this, the little paragraph I have that is dedicated to you. ^^; I admire your stubborn persistence. You guys, no matter how strange, odd, frightening, scary, disturbing, or just plain weird I am, are always there. The only thing I can say is, Caeli, I'm happy for you and your hubby-to-be -- mwahahahahaha. I'm not naming any other names, for several reasons, a few main points being that I'll indefinitely forget to mention someone and they'll come along and beat me up. ¬¬;;; Or the point that this is the Internet and crazy people sometimes prey on innocent children through the Internet. So. That's all I have to say. Thank you all so much!!!
Next on the list of thank-you's would probably be Lady Starlight. Star-chan is certifiably gonzo over Vincent and all the other unsung bishies out there (no da!!! Heeheehee...) She is someone I love talking to, and has provided a bit of the humor inspiration for this site. She is a good friend, and she likes Andrea Bocelli - *happy little smile* Arigatou, Lady Starlight!! No da no da tra la la la la la!!! Mwahahahaha.... *someone drags Launchpad offstage before she makes an even bigger fool of herself* *she runs back onstage* BTW, Star -- I'm thinkin' of puttin' that Tasuki fic up somewhere. ^_^ Would you like me to invite him to an unveiling party? *evil little grin*
Going down the list, we now have - Mr. Wolfe and Ms. Drumm and Mrs. Bloom, my seventh grade social studies teacher, my middle school music teacher/drama teacher, and my French teacher, respectively. These are my favorite teachers that I've had so far, not only because they are excellent in their fields ("I am NOT a Language Arts teacher!!") but because they're pretty easy to get along with, too. Basically they made it fun to learn whatever it was they were teaching me. Mme. Bloom, je ne sais pas tout le langue de français, mais j'adore ta classe! Merci beaucoup! Maintenant, je vais aller savoire l'Italien... hehehehehehehe. (Pardon le francais, s'il vous plait) Ms. Drumm, you picked awesome plays and transformed them from words on paper to actual things people could laugh at and enjoy. Thanks! And Mr. Wolfe... umm... er... *blank look* Thank you for letting Lani go on those big rants and for making social studies a good class.
And finally, the moment you've all been waiting for. Thanks are especially due to anyone who has submitted material to the Basement. By doing so, you make this little hole in the wall a better place for us all! This includes basically anyone except me, Launchpad, who has contributed a fic, artwork, idea, or whatever to the Basement - Launchpad thanks you ever so much!
You notice behind you a large contingent of wide-eyed people, staring in awe at the six-ring circus Launchpad has just constructed. They are wary yet, but in time Launchpad will either coax them out of their shells as a mother duck coaxes her ducklings, or Launchpad will force them out with her MAGNIFICENT CROWBAR OF DHOOME(tm)!!! So. If you have something you'd like to submit to the Basement, feel free! Launchpad welcomes everything. This is the Miscellaneous Vincent/Anime/Whatever Else Launchpad Puts Up Here For Your Viewing Pleasure website. ^_~ So. Send away!!!
