First, a word about
the contents of this site. This site is operated and maintained by

purposes. She is not being paid for this site, nor is she attempting
to pirate any of the material here. Please do not sue her; she has
no money. Thank you.
Now! On to the
FAQ!!!
Q. Who is Launchpad McQuack, esquire?
A. Launchpad McQuack, esquire, is a God-fearing American school-girl who loves watching anime and playing video games. She likes to read fantasy books (especially 'The Wheel of Time'). For more information, read the about me page.
Q. Who is Vincent Valentine, and why do you have a website devoted to him?
A. Vincent Valentine. *heart goes a-pitter-patter* Vincent is a character in the Playstation (or PC) game, Final Fantasy VII. He's a PC (playable character) who doesn't appear until later in the game. I've devoted my website to him because he's amazing and because he's mysterious, and there's a *whole* bunch of stuff out there written or doodled about him. ^_^
Q. How do I submit a piece of my work?
A. If you wish (for
some strange and unknown reason) to submit a fanfic or a picture to me,
please follow these guidelines:
~I DO NOT
accept yaoi, lemon, hentai, yuri, etc. etc. art or stories. Do not
send them to me. They will be returned.
~If you are sending a fanfic, please put the file in either Wordpad (.doc)
or MS Works (.wps) format; these are the writing programs my computer has,
and if your files are in any other format I cannot guarantee that they
will arrive un-corrupted (i.e., in Sanskrit). HTML (copying and pasting
the document into the body of your e-mail) is also fine. When sending
the e-mail, please put 'Fic Submission' in the header.
~DO NOT
send me a link to another person's webpage who has your work posted.
If their website's server is down (Angelfire, Dencity, whatever) then people
can't get to your work because all I have is a link.
~If you have art, JPEG format is preferred, but if you need to, Bitmaps
are all right. Please send them with 'Art Submission' in the subject
box.
~Until further notice, Microsoft Paint pictures will be accepted.
~I reserve the right to remove from my website any work that I choose,
for a reason to be determined at the time. If I find that you have
plagiarized someone else's work, or stolen a fic or story and sent it to
me with yourself as the artist/author, I will:
~remove all your other work from my website until further notice
~send you an e-mail notifying you of the removal
There will be NO
EXCEPTIONS to this rule.
~If you are sending me a fanfiction, your e-mail address will be displayed
next to the title of the story, with your approval. The same applies
for fanart. If you do not wish for your e-mail address to be displayed,
please say so in the body of the submission e-mail. Thank you.
~I won't send you a contract that you have to put your anme at the bottom
of -- I will expect you to read the above rules and follow them.
~Please e-mail all submissions to mudshark1013@hotohori-sama.com.
Q. How do I link to your website?
A. For now, since I don't have a banner (^^;) you need to link to me with a text hyperlink. My URL is https://mudshark1013.tripod.com/welcomeoneandall.html. This is how you'll link to me; please only link to the welcome page.
Q. Why are there so many disclaimers on your website?
A. Most of the material here is copyrighted stuff. No lie. Excepting the fanart/fanfictions/fan-et cetera, everything here is official. 100% bona fide. So, since I don't have quote-unquote "express written permission" from the copyright holders (i.e., Watase Yû or Squaresoft), I put up disclaimers assuring them that this website is purely for entertainment purposes and is strictly nonprofit. I guess that's the main reason for all of the disclaimers. ^^; I don't want to be sued.
Q. Are you a guy?
A. No. This I have been repeatedly asked, because of my screen name. Launchpad McQuack was a *male* character on both of the television shows "Duck Tales" and "Darkwing Duck". However, I am not Launchpad McQuack -- I am Launchpad McQuack, esquire. I am a girl. I am not a duck, I am quite human (at least, I was last I checked...).
Q. If I send you an e-mail, how long should I expect to wait for a reply?
A. Usually, I check my e-mail once a day. However, sometimes I am unable to go to my Inbox. This shouldn't happen too frequently, but hey, don't count your chickens, ne? If you send me an e-mail and I see it the day you've sent it to me, expect a reply within the next few days. Please note, though, that I am notorious for letting e-mails that I read loiter in my Inbox, and I may not reply for a bit if this is the case with your e-mail. Send another one if you don't get a reply within a week.
This FAQ will get longer as The Basement ages and people ask me questions. *sick little laugh* If you have a question you would like to see answered here, e-mail me at mudshark1013@hotohori-sama.com.
