CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF, THE BACKGROUND HERE IS NOT NAKKIE-SAMA. (...IT'S CHICHIRI NO DAAA!!!!!)
This is kind of a mini-shrine to Chichiri, Tasuki, and Nakkie. ^_^ Although I don't have many pictures of Nakkie. >_< If anyone has seen any pictures of him that they'd like to send (or if you've made Nakago pictures you'd like me to post), please send away!!!
This shrine contains Images (below), Icons (click here) and Music (click here). To return to the Hotohori Shrine, click on the bumper sticker below.
All of the following pictures were taken from the 100 Best Fushigi Yûgi Scenes, and there may or may not be spoilers in the descriptions thereof. You were warned. ^_^
This is from the part in the series where Miaka, Nuriko, and Hotohori are travelling around looking for Seishi, and they've been captured by bandits. Hotohori and Nuriko are assumed to be beautiful women, and much to Nuriko's surprise, Hotohori really gets into the role. ^_^
*cackles like an idiot* While the other Seishi are looking for their companions, Chichiri stays at the palace as a Doppelganger Hotohori. He quickly becomes bored, and periodically does handstands when no one's looking. He also does a perfect Hotohori impression, but nearly reveals that he's Chichiri by fogetting to change his voice at one point. Hehe.
Who can't love this pic? ^^ Especially Kouji's face. Of course, this is the first episode with Tasuki, and when Kouji comes to see him after many weeks, they celebrate with their bandit dance. The dance appears two other times in the series. ^__^
This is from the episode when the Seishi return to Konan, and after Chichiri addresses Hotohori as "Your Highness", it suddenly dawns on these three that Hotohori isn't just a bishonen, but the Emperor. ^_^ Hehehe.
This is the same episode (I think). Tasuki has just figured out about the love triangle between Tamahome, Hotohori, and Miaka, and Nuriko, for fear of Tasuki's upsetting His Highness, punches Tasuki through a wall, then tries to console Ho-ri.
Hehehe. Possibly one of the greatest scenes (but mebbe not, hey?). Amiboshi, trying to get everyone accustomed to his evil flute music, is playing to "try to comfort the emperor", and Nuriko, jealous because that's *his* job, gets mad. Then, the classic comment from Mitsukake, and Hoto's darling expression.
Lookit, it's the background! Chichiri, Tasuki, and Miaka have infiltrated the Kutou palace to rescue Tamahome, and Chichiri sneaks around as Nakago. However, he rounds a corner, only to find the actual Nakago and some guards. He immediately dashes off, and the guard calls after him, "Catch that super-deformed general!"
After receiving a horrible beating from Tamahome, Tasuki only wanted to get revenge. After both had recovered, Tasuki whipped out the tessen and flamed Tamahome, declaring happily to anyone who might have been nearby, "Gen-sama has returned!!" What a face.
Tasuki, being a "mountain bandit", never learned how to swim. Evidence of this is present in the scene above. My favorite parts are the faces in the third picture here. ^_^
You noticed a nearly blocked cave, glowing with a pale blue light, and decide to investigate (be forewarned, however, that this shrine is not a cheery, goofy one - it's atmoshpere is more sedate).
Me? Obsessive? Nah. ^_____^ Bwahahahahaha.... Clicking on any of the above images will send you to the main page of "Pocket Bishonen.com". Idea and all the "I Caught" images are property of Tokio.
